Message: Stopped in to grab lunch on the way to UCF-Valencia and was so happy we did. Everything is cafeteria style and so much to choose from. We don’t speak Spanish so we asked someone in line for their recommendations, and he recommended the pulled pork, rotisserie chicken, rice with pigeon peas, and yucca or plantains. Other people in line got into the spirit and gave us more great advice. Obviously the community loves this place and takes pride in it. The employees were awesome and helped us navigate the line. We got one of each meal. Only $4. 99 (free soda or water) and the meal was EXCELLENT. The meat was wonderfully seasoned and the rice with pigeon peas was addictive. Lots of citrus flavors. My daughter has never tried yucca but she cut into small pieces and mixed with her rice and loved it. We will definitely come back!
