Message: The Donut Shop is now our grandsons favorite stop when visiting Merritt Island. They cannot wait to go back because, as they say, "these donuts are the best we have ever had. ".

Message: Be sure to get here early -- they open at 5! I arrived just before 11 hoping for a few specific things (the maple bacon, triple chocolate, and apple fritter donuts), and they were out of all three! Was glad to be able to get something for the family still, but it was slim pickings. So clearly they're doing great and selling our fast! Just be sure to arrive early if you want the "good stuff. ". (Side note: Had a fritter before on another day when someone else picked up donuts for us and it was great! Trying these other donuts today and their breakfast sammies on a biscuit! ).

Message: This place is a gem! The breakfast sandwiches and donuts were delicious. There was a great selection of donuts and baked goods. Staff was kind and professional, and our breakfast came out super quickly. Coffee was very good also. Check it out if you're in the area!

Message: Classic, old-school donut shop. Got the breakfast biscuit sandwich--which was good, but a bit small. The star(s) of the show, though, were the donuts--not those overpriced "artisanal" donuts with fancy ingredients that cost $3-4 each (or more), but traditional yeast and cake donuts that are SUPER fresh and only about $1 each! I started with THE classic, yeast glazed--pillowy soft, these were like Krispy Kreme, but twice the size, and still went down just as fast! I followed that up with a maple bacon donut with real bacon pieces, and that went down just as quickly, I'm not sure I breathed while eating it, and my eyes closed for several moments--good thing I was parked! I saved the rest for others, but the boston cream, regular maple, sprinkles, and sour cream cake glazed were all reportedly amazing! If you are anywhere close to Cocoa, FL, don't miss this place!

Message: Excellent breakfast bagels and donuts. Simple menu, but everything I've eaten from here has been excellent and consistent every time. The staff are great and prepare everything freshly.

Message: Nice heavy donuts as compared to the big chains. The Boston creame had a slight bitter after taste, likely due to older oil used. The donut was fresh and had the right amount of creame. The jelly was also nicely filled. I tried both powdered and glazed. You need to get there early as they sell out by late morning and then close fairly early. A nice treat when in the mood. The only real negative was out of three boston creames we got, one was significantly smaller than the others. I have not tried the apple fritter yet.
